When installing the UpTop mounting kit, it's important to consider the holes in the bed rack to ensure proper alignment. I used the four center holes for better alignment and smaller bolts. You'll need a 4mm Allen and 1/4-20 Nylock nuts for this step.
Mounting Maxtrax pins with a 17mm bolt head
To mount the Max Tracks pins to the UpTop wings, you'll need a 17mm bolt head. It's best to use a deep socket to fully seat the bolt. If a deep socket isn't available, crescent wrenches can also be used.
Mounting to a bed rack may vary, consider your own setup
The process of mounting to the bed rack may vary depending on your specific setup. It's essential to ensure proper mounting before tying anything down. Test fit the wings with the pin set installed to ensure proper clearance of any cross bars.
